Kachecha Chandra is a story about an ambitious girl, Shakuntala, who wishes to complete her education and then find a suitable job for herself. She has also reached an age where her parents want her to get married and settle down.
Shakuntala's life changes when she gets an irresistible offer to act in a movie as a lead heroine. She accepts the offer and within few years she becomes a well-known face in the film industry.
Her step brother, Baburao, manages her career. He is so possessive about her that he takes all the decisions on behalf of her, right from selecting the film to finalizing the hero.
